We know very little about them because they left no written texts and what we do know is from other peoples who came into contact with them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18296 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/manono.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Keltes01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"354\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manono.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Keltes01.jpg 500w, https:\/\/manono.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Keltes01-300x212.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"..\/Themata\/Keltes-00.png\" alt=\"\" \/><span style=\"color: #2d5e2d;\"><em><strong>Dispersion of the Celts on the European continent<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>They worshiped nature, animals and their society was based on religion, which was practiced with <strong>secret ceremonies<\/strong> by their <strong>Druid priests<\/strong>, who had the ability to practice magic. They believed in the existence of the &#8220;<strong>other world<\/strong>&#8221; which housed fairies, wonderful treasures, eternal youth, etc. with a lot of magic. If the object is rotated, the patterns transform, revealing other subjects.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"..\/Themata\/Keltes-02.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"..\/Themata\/Keltes-02a.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Geometry and numbers are the firm foundation of Celtic art, with the <strong>circle<\/strong> and the number <strong>3<\/strong> being particularly important.<\/p>\n<p>Celtic art is distinguished by abstract decoration that includes <strong>intricate labyrinth patterns<\/strong>.
