It has an adjustable cord, so it can be easily adjusted to the length you want.

It is painted with ecological water varnish. It is water resistant, but not waterproof. It’s okay if it gets wet for a while, but you can’t bathe in it.

Because a significant amount of copper is contained between the wood fibers, over time it may turn green and slowly acquire a special “antique” look, due to oxidation. Please ask for a recent photo before ordering, so you know exactly the product you will receive.

Of course, oxidation will continue even after receipt, while painting with ecological varnish just slows it down. The time and intensity of oxidation depends on many factors and cannot be predicted.

The aesthetics of the oxidation effect is divisive and while a (small) portion of people don’t like it, some feel that it adds to the value of the product for the image of aged jewelry it acquires.

It is delivered in a special case made on a 3D printer, from PLA polymer material derived from renewable resources (maize, sugar beet). This thermoplastic material is non-toxic, biodegradable and does not burden the environment.
